Nurse Manager (RN) Opportunity - 

This opportunity includes a $8,000 Sign on bonus!

The Pavilion Behavioral Health System includes a 110 bed inpatient hospital, a residential treatment center for youth and a residential addictions treatment program. Outpatient services include partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient services, as well as The Pavilion Foundation School, a private day school serving students with learning disabilities and behavior disorders. The Pavilion is located in Champaign, IL, within minutes of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign campus.

Responsibilities

• Assumes the responsibility of overseeing and coordinating the total assessment, planning, implementation of patient care, ensuring that quality services are rendered to patients in accordance with the State of Illinois’ Nurse Practice Act, The Joint Commission, Medicare, etc., and sets standards for the adult unit
• In conjunction with the Director of Nursing, ensures maintenance of appropriate staffing on the adult unit with respect to census and acuity levels.

Requirements

• Illinois RN License
• Demonstrated working knowledge of behavioral health nursing clinical practices and management.
• Knowledge of principles and practices relevant to nursing and patient care activities.
• Demonstrated knowledge of effective management and supervisory practices.  Developed written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to plan, direct, and monitor others’ activities with demonstrated leadership abilities that contribute to a positive work environment.

• Clinical psychiatric nursing experience and two years managerial experience preferred.  Demonstrates progressive roles in nursing leadership.
